The return of the Illawarra’s contribution to the world’s biggest little festival: SHORT+SWEET is just around the corner, and we have an epic 22 plays over a two-week season 15-24th September 2022 at the Bridge Street Theatre Coniston.
Short+Sweet Illawarra is proud to announce our Top 20 Season of plays.
We have an exciting year, with a strong group of directors and some excellent original scripts.
The Canberra festival has returned to Winter (12 - 15 August). Chilly but worth the fun!

Short+Sweet – the world’s largest little play festival – launches in the Illawarra for the very first time in 2018 which will produce twenty short plays over two weeks in Shellharbour and Wollongong.
