Writer and ITC Submission Open

Submissions are now open for local community and independent theatre companies to submit a script, including director and actors to be considered for the inaugural Short+Sweet Illawarra season in October.

You don't need to be an established theatre group to submit an ITC entry, even a loose collection of creatives is fine by us. All we ask is that your play is no more than ten minutes in duration. We require at the very minimum an actor and a writer. You may include your cast or select your actors from the Short+Sweet Illawarra open auditions.

Interns Wanted!

Interested in the performing arts?
Want to learn about event/festival/theatre management?
Recent graduate or current student of performing arts, theatre production, event management or marketing?

YOU should apply for an internship at Short+Sweet HQ and help out on the biggest little play festival in the world!

Internships with Short+Sweet can increase skills, experience and networks in all areas of the creative industries.

Tasks

S&S Hollywood Actor Auditions Announced!

SHORT & SWEET HOLLYWOOD -- ACTOR AUDITIONS

Casting sessions will be broken down by gender and age groups so that we can have some order to the process. Since we have over 40 directors that will be part of the process, this also allows them to only sit in when needed and not burn out (the better to pay attention to you!). Caveat...if you absolutely cannot make your "assigned" time, you can come at another open day/time, but first priority will be given to the folks who's time it actually is.
