Short+Sweet Dubai 2024

Short+Sweet Theatre Dubai returns to Dubai for its 12th amazing year, running over the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from January 13 to March 3, 2024

The theater festival for anyone and everyone, no matter what format your story is in - monologues, ensemble pieces, mime, musicals in ANY language. The only rule your performance should not exceed 10 minutes.

Audience members and judges get to vote for their favourite play. The one that gets the most votes will move on to the next round (People’s Choice Semi-Final and Judges Choice Semi-Final on Feb 24 and 25)

The winning plays will then perform at the Red-Carpet Gala Finals from March 1 to 3.

    A couple has been married for five years, but they do not have children, even though there is no medical reason preventing them from having children. They try in many ways to have a child.

    After he finished sculpting her statue, Pygmalion asked Venus to breathe life into it. Despite Apollo's refusal, Venus agreed to give Galatea a new soul. Afterward, Pygmalion finds out that he might be able to own the body, but it is impossible to own the soul.
