Some of the highest-rated entries from both 2014, 2015 and 2016 were performed four or more times at various festivals.

How would you like to become a Short+Sweet script assessor?
Short+Sweet receives thousands of script submissions from all over the world every year. Each script is read between three and five times as part of our Assessment Process, hence, we are always on the lookout for experienced writers, teachers and theatre professionals to join us as Script Assessors.
Why become an assessor.
The results are in, and it's a bit of a landslide!
Carl J. Sorheim's play, It's All The Rage, took home four of our six awards last night, and they were well deserved!
The play won the People's Choice award and the Best Production award. Director Chris Baldock won Best Director, and actor Nick Steain won Best Actor.
If you are selected as a director for the festival, you will be given the choice of around 100 shortlisted scripts and a lineup of amazing actors to choose from. With our support, you will direct a compelling 10-minute play for presentation to an enthuastic public audience.
DIRECTOR REGISTRATIONS CLOSE 7 OCTOBER
Directors will then be selected and sent scripts to choose from, prior to actor auditions.
Registrations Close September 12.
