DUE: Monday 21 May
Once you have confirmed your full team, please let us know. We will require each person’s email address and mobile phone number in case we need to contact them.
It is important that we have a record of each person on your team to make sure they receive access to backstage and a complimentary ticket. This applies to performers or creatives that are directly involved in the creation of your work
We will be producing program booklets for free distribution before the festival opens. In order to make this work, we will need your program details quite early on.
This includes: play title, writer credit, director credit, company name (if applicable to ITCs), cast list, and a short 2-sentence blurb (max 50 words). We may have some or all of these details already, but this is your chance to re-word how they appear in the program and in other publicity materials.
All registered festival artists (writers, directors, and performers whose work is being presented at the festival) are entitled to reserve ONE complimentary ticket to their own performance strand. This can be used by themselves or by a friend. Please note that directors are also entitled to house seats (for details, please see artist info pack). Please do not attempt to book more than one complimentary ticket. For any concerns, contact shortsweet.production@gmail.com.

In an extraordinary achievement precociously talented Dubai based writer-director-actor Sanjeev Dixit and Third Half Theatre have won Short+Sweet Dubai for a second year in a row.
In front of a full house at the Madinat Theatre on Friday night, Dixit’s epic ten-minute musical, The Tragic Queen, performed by a cast of 18, took home the top award winning the Best Overall Production among a hotly contested field.
